Yes. All of our scenic tours are private experiences and are not shared with other guests. This allows us to tailor the experience to your preferences and travel at a pace that suits you.

Yes. All of our scenic tours can be customised to suit your preferences. Additional destinations, extended durations, or significant itinerary variations may incur additional charges.

We recommend enclosed footwear, long pants, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day of your tour. Please note that hinterland and mountain tours can be significantly cooler than coastal areas due to the higher elevation.

Tours proceed in all weather conditions unless conditions are considered unsafe by Coastal Thunder Tours. If a tour is unable to proceed due to unsafe weather, a credit will be issued for a future tour. Alternatively, a refund may be requested, less a 20% administration fee.

Tours can depart from a range of Gold Coast locations depending on the experience booked. Pickups between Runaway Bay and Burleigh Heads are included in the tour price.

Pickups outside this area incur an additional $20 charge.

Pickups outside the Gold Coast city boundary may be available by arrangement and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Absolutely. We encourage guests to bring a camera or smartphone to capture the spectacular scenery along the way – just dont drop it! Our tours include opportunities to stop at scenic locations for photographs and sightseeing.

We also take photographs and videos throughout many of our tours and are happy to share these with you after your experience, providing a lasting reminder of your adventure.

Full payment is required at the time of booking for all standard scenic tours.

For larger groups, special events and customised experiences, a 20% booking deposit is required to secure your reservation, with full payment due no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled experience.

More than 14 days before the tour – Full refund of all monies paid.

14 days or less before the tour – A cancellation fee equal to 20% of the booking value applies. The balance of any monies paid will be refunded.
